Hailing from the upstate of South Carolina, Eddie is a Class A PGA Professional and has learned under some of the brightest minds in the coaching and teaching industry. Many philosophies and theories have been tested and throughout have provided a unique approach to the game.
Eddie has also worked for some of the best golf clubs in the state during his time after college including The Cliffs Communities, The Golf Club at Briars Creek, and Kiawah Island Club. Now located at Country Club of Charleston, Eddie continues to sharpen his knowledge as one of the best short game instructors in the area. He now focuses on teaching a wide variety of students from ages 5 and up and enjoys concentrating on short game fundamentals, putting, and even the psychology of the game. While teaching and coaching is his passion, he does not believe in a one size fits all mentality in instruction. Eddie believes it is best to take what we have and mold it into something more efficient which has proven to be very successful for the students currently under his wing.
"I was a 9 handicap for the past 10 years; I tried lessons with a bunch of different Professionals with no change. Since working with Eddie, my handicap dropped in half within six months. You make a change, master it, then move on to the next step. He is flat out awesome". - Matt B
"Wow...unbelievable coach and refreshing. Most coaches want to change you to be a swing that you see on the PGA Tour. Eddie blends what you already have and creates a more consistent golf swing. I was sold in 5 minutes". -Russ C
"Game changer, makes all other coaches seem like a gimic. Makes the game a lot easier". - Will C
"Awesome instructor! Highly suggest to anyone who wants to improve. We mostly worked on philosophy and different approaches to certain shots. He can make what seems like a difficult task into something understandable and easy. -T Carroll
